The Flint Hills RC&D Council completed 3 projects in fiscal year 2010 and ended the year with 12 active projects. Through Flint Hills RC&D community and economic development projects: 21 new businesses were created; 17 farm related businesses/jobs were created farm rural community jobs were created.

Flint Hills RC&D continues to be active with information and education activities including, workshop/tours, training sessions, and environmental education sessions, also 7 watershed conservation plans were developed/implemented on 2,045,718 acres.

Almost 6,000 acres of cropland, grazing land, and forest land were treated through Flint Hills RC&D projects in fiscal year 2010.
